Based on Literary and Scientific Institutions Act 1854, Indian Registration Act 1908. And commencement and interpretation Act 1956.Regd.No:1279/B4/VOl/1,716/P,173to185/2014, Government of india, For the Promotion, Development & Research of Alternative System of Medicines and Paramedical Science. And is authorized to run various courses in Paramedical Science and Alternative Medicines. It has Wide network to promote this medical system throughout India.
Scientific Institute of Paramedical Science offers a high standard academic programs through regular/correspondence (Distance Learning) in various paramedical courses and alternative therapies leading to the award of Diploma, Bachelor and Post Graduate certificates. Etc
SIAM AND PMS (SCIENTIFIC INSTITUTE OF ALTERNATIVE MEDICINES AND PARA MEDICAL SCIENCE) working under literary and scientific institution act 21 of 1854 & 17&18 vict.-c-112 S. 20 et seq and Indian Registration ACT 1908 & (Commencement and interpretation Act,) 1956 or (company Act) with its head office to supervise the affiliated institutions/collages on all India basis, the council do not have any concern with any other council (Government-NON-Government) U.G.C etc. All Diplomas/ Certificates etc. are awarded autonomously by the council.
For effective health services now there is need that entire program should be at national level to be reviewed to move with new medical developments. The responsibilities of community in health have more importance which should have trained health specialist along with worker and technologists and should be well equipped to give specified remedies for day to day illness. Has been establish to workers may get rural atmosphere which may help them to work in rural and urban areas. So the council is promoting paramedical sciences and health education in the country.
- To promote and develop the alternative medicines & Para Medical Sciences all over India & abroad.
- To establish and Run institutions, Hospitals, Research centre all over India & abroad. Promoting Alternative Medicines & Para Medical Sciences for diffusal of literary and scientific Knowledge.
- To conduct training programs & camps on various aspect such as health education and social aspects.
- To enlist and accord registration on experience basis to deserving qualified person; medical students and those possessing adequate experiences in the alterative Medicines & Para Medical Courses of Studies.
- To prepare Students in prescribed courses in the Alternative Medicines & Para Medical Sciences.
- To provide latest modern and advance knowledge, technologies to paramedical students.
- To open dispensaries , Hospitals , Medical Pathologies , Labs, Diagnostic Centre on Charitable basis in rural & urban areas of India & abroad.
- To Promote, Propagate and advance the science of alternative systems of medicines such as Electro Homoeopathy, Bach Flower Remedies, Psychological Counseling, Naturopathy, Hydrotherapy, Chromotherapy, Teletherapy, Gem Therapy, Radinics, Bioenegetics, Homoeopunchcture, Reikhi, Magneto Therapy, Aromatherapy etc & to raise the status of alternative systems of medicines.
- To advance the scientific study and professional practices of alternative medicines by encouraging its development by promoting research and setting high standards of professional ethics, competence, conduct, education, qualification and achievement amongst practitioners promoting the dissemination of knowledge and thought about alternative medicines through training, educational courses refresher courses, dataset, exhibitions, camps, publications professional contacts etc. With wide interest and inquiry into alternative medicine and all related areas of knoweldge and pratice
- To maintain the honour and dignity and to uphold and safeguard to interests of alternative systems of medicine and other allied subjects.
- To certify, permit, supervise and maintain a register of practitioners possessing degrees, diplomas or certificates etc. of the SIAM AND PMS (council) or from any colleges or institute of alternative medicines either affiliated to the SIAM AND PMS (council), or any authentic institute, and practitioners who have experience in any branch of alternative systems of medicine by award of a registration certificate to them. Such a practitioner shall be known as a registered Medical Practitioner (R.M.P)
- To give the rights of practicing to registered Medical Practitioners enrolled by the SIAM AND PMS (council) as qualified physicians, without any restriction, and entitling them to issue medical certificates such as sickness, fitness etc of any other certificate required by any law. To establish the faculty to control the examinations of teaching and educational institutions or colleges etc; and to award degrees (including PhD. M.D Master, Bachelor etc.) diplomas. Certificates etc., thereof.
- To determine a uniform code of conduct for practitioners registered by SIAM AND PMS (council).
- To improve public health in accordance with the principles of alternative systems of medicine.
- To undertake publications relating to alternative medicines.
- To establish, dispensaries, hospitals, research institutes etc. of alternative system of medicine.
- To engage, assist or undertake various social activities as sanitation, public health, establishment of libraries, social welfare, pestilence and other calamities caused by nature and man.
- To help the nation to arrive at the goal that by the 21st Century health will be for all.
- The courses of the SIAM AND PMS (council) are not incorporated by UGC/MCI/state Medical Faculties or UGC, RECOGNIZED Universities etc. The Courses of SIAM AND PMS are run by AUTO GOVT.
- The aim of the council is to overcome the gaps by providing qualities modern and affordable –education.
